Legal agreement governing your enrollment and participation in Code Evolution Academy
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Code Evolution Academy. By enrolling in our programs, accessing our services, or using our educational platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
This agreement governs your rights and responsibilities as a student, the scope of our educational services, liability limitations, and dispute resolution procedures. Please review these terms carefully before proceeding with enrollment or platform usage.

1. Legal Compliance Responsibilities
As a student of Code Evolution Academy, you are required to:
- Comply with all applicable Sri Lankan laws and international regulations while using our services
- Respect intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets
- Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary educational materials and teaching methodologies
- Ensure all information provided during enrollment is accurate, current, and truthful
2. Conduct Requirements and Community Standards
- 2.1 Maintain professional, respectful communication with instructors, mentors, and fellow students
- 2.2 Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive behavior toward community members
- 2.3 Submit original work and properly cite any external sources or collaborative efforts
- 2.4 Participate constructively in group projects and peer programming exercises
- 2.5 Report any suspected violations of community standards to academy administration
3. Academic Integrity and Content Guidelines
- Maintain academic honesty in all coursework, assessments, and certification examinations
- Avoid plagiarism, cheating, or unauthorized collaboration unless explicitly permitted
- Use learning resources responsibly and within the scope of your enrollment period
- Respect content restrictions and licensing agreements for third-party educational materials
4. Financial and Payment Obligations
- Pay all tuition fees, deposits, and additional charges according to agreed payment schedules
- Provide valid payment information and immediately notify us of any changes to billing details
- Understand that course access may be suspended for non-payment after grace period expires
- Accept responsibility for any collection costs or legal fees resulting from payment defaults

Limitation of Liability
- A Code Evolution Academy's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific course or service giving rise to the claim
- B We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or educational opportunities
- C Our liability does not extend to career outcomes, job placement success, or salary expectations following course completion
- D Any claim must be brought within one year of the date the cause of action arose
Educational Outcomes Disclaimer
- While we strive for excellence, we cannot guarantee specific learning outcomes or skill acquisition levels
- Individual learning results depend on personal effort, prior experience, and commitment to coursework
- Job placement assistance does not constitute a guarantee of employment or specific salary levels
- Technology industry conditions and employer requirements may change independently of our curriculum
Force Majeure Provisions
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or civil disturbances
- Internet service outages, power failures, or telecommunications disruptions
- Cybersecurity incidents, data breaches affecting third-party service providers
- Changes in educational regulations or accreditation requirements

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka
- Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colombo, Sri Lanka
- International students agree to submit to Sri Lankan jurisdiction for dispute resolution
- Educational regulations and consumer protection laws of Sri Lanka shall apply
Dispute Resolution Procedures
Step 1: Direct Resolution
Contact our Student Services team within 30 days of the issue arising. Most disputes can be resolved through direct communication and good faith negotiation.
Step 2: Formal Mediation
If direct resolution fails, either party may request mediation through a qualified mediator in Colombo. Mediation costs shall be shared equally between parties.
Step 3: Binding Arbitration
Unresolved disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration under the Arbitration Act of Sri Lanka. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and enforceable.
Severability and Enforceability
- If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force
- Invalid clauses shall be replaced with valid provisions that most closely reflect the original intent
- Waiver of any term or condition does not constitute a waiver of any other provision
- These terms constitute the entire agreement and supersede all prior understandings
Terms Modification Policy
- We reserve the right to modify these terms with 30 days advance notice to enrolled students
- Material changes will be communicated via email and prominently displayed on our website
- Continued use of our services after modification constitutes acceptance of revised terms
- Students may terminate their enrollment if they disagree with material term changes
